Upon retiring from the stage, he completed a BFA with honors from St. Mary's College in California, and spearheaded a Fellowship program in Arts Administration at CalPerformances at UCBerkeley, California. Brandenhoff is a faculty member at the Ailey School in New York City, where he teaches in the Professional and Junior divisions. He also teaches his own pre-professional training program for students ages 7-14 in New York City.
NJDTE's Summer Dance Intensive (July 11-29, 2016) at our state-of-the-art facility in Summit, NJ is for advanced dancers ages 13-17. The program concentrates on strengthening the dancer’s technique with daily classes in ballet, pointe, modern and contemporary dance as well as additional classes in Pilates, yoga, improvisation, floor barre, dance history, anatomy, and lectures on dance psychology. Dancers have the opportunity to learn and perform repertory works and work with cutting-edge choreographers, in addition to being an integral part of “INKUBATE,” a site-specific performance at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit.
